The Bourns MF-SM075-2 is a surface mount polymeric PTC resettable fuse from the MF-SM series, designed for overcurrent protection in low-voltage applications. It has a hold current of 750 mA at 23°C and a trip current of 1.5 A. The maximum voltage rating is 30 V, and the maximum interrupt current is 80 A. Initial resistance is 0.23 Ω minimum, and post-trip resistance is 1.0 Ω maximum. Time to trip at 8 A is 0.3 seconds maximum, with typical tripped power dissipation of 1.7 W. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
The fuse is housed in a 2-SMD package with dimensions 7.31 mm x 5.44 mm x 3.18 mm, suitable for automated assembly. It holds agency recognition from cUL (E174545) and TÜV (R50362083), and is AEC-Q200 qualified for automotive applications. The part is RoHS compliant, lead free, and halogen free, meeting environmental standards.
