The Bourns MF-R800 is a polymeric PTC resettable fuse from the MF-R series. It features a hold current of 8 A, trip current of 16 A, and a maximum voltage rating of 30 V. The device can withstand a maximum fault current of 40 A. The typical time to trip at 40 A is 18.8 seconds.
The fuse has an initial resistance range of 0.005 Ω to 0.02 Ω at 23°C, with a maximum 1-hour resistance of 0.03 Ω and maximum post-trip resistance of 0.03 Ω. Typical tripped power dissipation is 4.00 W at 23°C. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
Packaged in a through hole radial disc configuration with 10.20 mm lead spacing. Body dimensions are 24.20 mm length, 3.00 mm width, and 32.90 mm height. The epoxy coating is rated UL94V-0 for flame retardancy. Device is RoHS compliant, lead free, and halogen free per Bourns definition.
