This Bourns MF-R400-2 is a polymeric PTC resettable fuse designed for overcurrent protection. It offers a hold current of 4 A and a trip current of 8 A, with a maximum voltage rating of 30 V and a maximum interrupt current of 40 A. The device features low initial resistance ranging from 0.010 Ω to 0.030 Ω, and a maximum post-trip resistance of 50 mΩ.
The fuse is housed in a radial through-hole package with a disc shape, lead spacing of 5.10 mm, and dimensions of 14.40 mm length, 3.00 mm width, and 24.80 mm height. It is suitable for a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and has a flammability rating of UL 94V-0.
