The Bourns MF-R065 is a polymeric PTC resettable fuse designed for overcurrent protection. It has a hold current of 650 mA at 23°C and a trip current of 1.30 A. The maximum voltage rating is 60 V, and it can interrupt fault currents up to 40 A. Initial resistance ranges from 0.27 Ω to 0.48 Ω, with post-trip resistance up to 0.72 Ω. The time to trip at 5.5 A is 5.3 seconds maximum, and typical power dissipation when tripped is 0.90 W. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
The MF-R065 is packaged in a radial disc with a 5.10 mm lead spacing, 9.70 mm diameter, 3.10 mm thickness, and 15.20 mm height. It is through-hole mountable, suitable for wave soldering and board assembly. The device is RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen free. Agency approvals include cUL, TÜV, and UL 94V-0 flammability rating.
This fuse is commonly used in power supplies, battery chargers, motor protection, and industrial control circuits. Its polymeric construction provides resettable overcurrent protection, eliminating the need for fuse replacement after a fault event.
