The Bourns MF-R050 is a polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PTC) resettable overcurrent protection device. It is designed to protect circuits from overcurrent faults by transitioning from a low-resistance state to a high-resistance state when the current exceeds the trip threshold. Once the fault is cleared and power is removed, the device resets to its low-resistance state.

The initial resistance ranges from 0.41 Ω to 0.77 Ω, with a maximum post-trip resistance of 1.17 Ω.
