The Bourns MF-R025-2-99 is a polymeric PTC resettable fuse from the MF-R series. It is designed to protect circuits from overcurrent conditions by automatically resetting after the fault is cleared.
It features a hold current of 250 mA, a trip current of 500 mA, and a maximum voltage rating of 60 V. The maximum current rating is 40 A. The initial resistance ranges from 1.0 Ω to 1.95 Ω at 23°C, with a post-trip resistance of 3 Ω maximum. The time to trip is 2.5 seconds at 1.25 A, and tripped power dissipation is 0.45 W typical.
