The Bourns MF-FSMF010X-2 is a polymeric PTC resettable fuse designed for overcurrent protection in compact electronic circuits. It features a hold current of 100 mA at 23°C still air and a trip current of 300 mA. The device can withstand a maximum voltage of 15 V and a maximum fault current of 40 A. Resistance ranges from 0.9 Ω (minimum) to 6 Ω (maximum) at 23°C. Typical time to trip is 1 second at 0.5 A. Tripped power dissipation is 0.5 W.
The fuse is housed in a surface mount 0603 (1608 Metric) concave package with dimensions 1.65 mm length, 0.85 mm width, and 0.65 mm maximum thickness.
