The Samtec MEC1-108-02-S-D-A-K-TR is a 1.00mm pitch mini edge card socket from the MEC1 series, designed for vertical surface mount applications. This connector features 16 positions arranged in 2 rows with dual readout, accepting 1.57mm (0.062") thick circuit cards.
The connector is rated for 2.2A maximum current per pin (2 pins powered) and 250VAC / 354VDC maximum voltage. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C, making it suitable for demanding environments. The insulator is molded from black Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP), and the contacts are gold plated with a thickness of 0.76µm over phosphor bronze base material.
This variant includes a polyimide pick and place pad and an alignment pin, and is supplied in Tape & Reel packaging with 200 pieces per reel. The loop bellows contact design ensures reliable mating with the edge card. The connector is lead-free solderable and RoHS3 compliant.
