The connector uses friction coupling and is rated for 500 mating cycles.

 

Electrically, the assembly can withstand 600 VAC at sea level and 150 VAC at 70,000 ft altitude, with a minimum insulation resistance of 5000 megohms. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C. It is designed to withstand 50 G shock and 20 G vibration, making it suitable for harsh environments. The assembly is RoHS3 compliant (unverified), MSL 1, and REACH unaffected.
