The ITT Cannon MDM-25PCBRM7 is a Micro-D plug connector part of the MICRO series. It features 25 positions arranged in 3 rows with male pin contacts. The connector uses a D-Type Micro-D shell style and is designed for right angle solder termination to a printed circuit board.
Electrical specifications include a maximum current rating of 3 A, contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level. The insulation resistance is at least 5000 megohms. The contacts are made of gold plated copper alloy and use a crimp termination type.
The connector has a metal shell made of aluminum with yellow chromate/cadmium over nickel finish. It includes a jackscrew coupling mechanism and a jackpost hardware part M83513/5-07. The insulator is made of liquid crystalline polymer (LCP). It is rated for panel mount, through hole, right angle mounting and includes a mating side female screwlock (2-56) flange feature.
Mechanical and environmental capabilities include operation from -55°C to +125°C, physical shock resistance to 50 G's, vibration resistance to 20 G's, and durability of 500 mating cycles minimum. The connector is shielded.
