The ITT Cannon MDM-15PCBRP is a Micro-D connector plug from the MDM series. It features 15 male pins arranged in 3 rows with a 0.050 inch pitch and 0.100 inch row spacing. The connector style is D-Type Micro-D with a shielded metal shell.
This plug is rated for a maximum current of 3A and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level. Contact resistance is 8 milliohms maximum, and insulator resistance is 5000 megohms minimum. Contacts are gold plated copper alloy. The shell is aluminum with yellow chromate plated cadmium finish.
The connector uses jackscrew coupling with standard jackpost hardware for secure mating. It is designed for signal applications. Mounting type is panel mount with through hole right angle solder termination. The termination type is condensed right angle PCB terminations.
The connector is rated for 500 mating cycles. It withstands thermal shock from -55°C to +125°C, vibration of 20 G's from 10 to 2000 Hz for 12 hours, and physical shock of 50 G's. Moisture resistance is 100 megohms minimum, and it passes 48 hours salt spray testing.
