The MCZ33880EWR2 is an 8-channel power switch from NXP Semiconductors designed for general-purpose switching applications. It integrates eight N-Channel outputs that can be configured as high-side or low-side drivers, controlled via an 8-bit SPI interface that also provides fault reporting. The device operates over a wide supply voltage range of 5.5 V to 24.5 V and features programmable current limiting from 0.8 A to 2.0 A. Output voltage clamps protect against inductive switching: +45 V typical for low-side drive and -20 V typical for high-side drive. The typical Rds(on) is 0.55 Ω at 25°C, and the standby current is a maximum of 5.0 μA at 13 V VPWR up to 95°C. Fault protection includes fixed current limiting, open load detection, and over voltage protection. The device is rated for junction temperatures from -40°C to 150°C. It is available in a 32-SOIC or 32-BSSOP (0.295", 7.50mm Width) package, both surface mount. This switch is suitable for driving resistive and inductive loads in automotive and industrial environments.
