This optocoupler provides 5000Vrms of isolation and is suitable for applications such as isolating high voltage transients in AC line/digital logic interfaces, eliminating spurious ground loops, and controlling AC Triacs. It has a forward current of 60 mA and a maximum collector current of 30 mA.

 

The MCT9001SD operates within a temperature range of -55°C to 100°C. It is available in a surface mount, 8-SMD Gull Wing package, making it suitable for high-density applications. The device also meets Pb-Free standards.

 

Key electrical characteristics include a maximum collector-emitter saturation voltage of 0.4V, a forward voltage of 1.3V, and a reverse voltage of 5V. The current transfer ratio ranges from a minimum of 50% to a maximum of 600% at 5mA.
