The Microchip Technology MCP9800A5T-M/OT is a digital temperature sensor designed for precise temperature monitoring. It operates across a wide temperature range of -55°C to 125°C, providing accurate readings with a typical accuracy of ±0.5°C at +25°C and a maximum of ±1°C from -10°C to +85°C.
This sensor utilizes a user-selectable resolution from 9 to 12 bits and communicates via an industry-standard 2-wire I²C/SMBus compatible interface, allowing up to eight devices on a single bus. It features power-saving modes like Shutdown and One-shot temperature measurement, with a low shutdown current of 1 µA maximum.
