The Realtek RTL8111H-CG is a versatile integrated 10/100/1000M Ethernet controller chip. It combines a Media Access Controller (MAC) with a triple-speed Ethernet transceiver and a PCI Express bus controller.

 

This chip supports high-speed transmission over CAT 5 UTP cable or CAT 3 UTP cable for 10Mbps connections. It features advanced functions like Crossover Detection and Auto-Correction, polarity correction, adaptive equalization, cross-talk cancellation, echo cancellation, timing recovery, and error correction to ensure robust transmission and reception.

 

The RTL8111H-CG complies with IEEE 802.3u for 10/100Mbps Ethernet and IEEE 802.3ab for 1000Mbps Ethernet. It supports the PCI Express 1.1 bus interface for host communications, including power management features. The chip is available in QFN32 and hqfp64 packages.

 

It also includes embedded One-Time-Programmable (OTP) memory and a built-in LDO regulator. The RTL8111H-CG is designed for modern operating systems with Advanced Configuration Power management Interface (ACPI) support.
