The MC74LVX573DTR2G from On Semiconductor is an advanced, high-speed CMOS octal latch featuring 3-state outputs. This device is designed for interfacing 5.0V systems to 3.0V systems, with inputs that tolerate voltages up to 7.0V. The latch operates with a supply voltage range of 2V to 3.6V and offers a typical propagation delay of 6.4 ns at 3.3V.
Controlled by a latch enable input and an output enable input, the eight outputs enter a high impedance state when the output enable is high. The MC74LVX573 features power-down protection on its inputs, balanced propagation delays, and low noise characteristics. It is pin and function compatible with other standard logic families and exhibits excellent latchup performance exceeding 300 mA.
This latch is supplied in a 20-TSSOP package, suitable for surface mounting. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications. ESD protection is provided, with Human Body Model exceeding 2000V and Machine Model exceeding 200V.
