The ON Semiconductor MC74HCT74ADR2G is a high-performance silicon-gate CMOS dual D flip-flop. Each flip-flop includes individual set, reset, and clock inputs. Information at the D-input is transferred to the corresponding Q output on the next positive-going edge of the clock input. Both Q and Q outputs are available from each flip-flop, and the set and reset inputs are asynchronous.
This device operates over a voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and supports a maximum clock frequency of 30 MHz. It features TTL NMOS compatible input levels and outputs that directly interface to CMOS, NMOS, and TTL. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
The MC74HCT74ADR2G is supplied in a 14-SOIC surface mount package. It is designed for applications requiring reliable D-type flip-flop functionality with asynchronous set and reset capabilities. The device is Pb-free and halogen-free, complying with RoHS standards.
Key electrical characteristics include a low input current of 2 µA and a maximum propagation delay of 24 ns at 5V and 50pF. The internal gate count is 34 equivalent gates, with a typical internal gate propagation delay of 1.5 ns.
