The MC74HC540ADWR2G from On Semiconductor is an octal, 3-state, inverting buffer, line driver, and line receiver designed for bus-oriented systems. This high-performance silicon-gate CMOS device operates over a voltage range of 2.0V to 6.0V and offers an output drive capability of 15 LSTTL loads. Its outputs directly interface with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL logic families.
This buffer is suitable for applications such as memory address drivers and clock drivers. It features inputs and outputs on opposite sides of the package and two ANDed active-low output enables. The device is supplied in a 20-SOIC package with surface mount mounting type.
