MC74HC165ADTR2G

The MC74HC165ADTR2G from ON Semiconductor is a high-performance silicon-gate CMOS 8-bit shift register. It features complementary outputs from the last stage and supports both serial and parallel data loading. Data can be loaded asynchronously in parallel when the SERIAL SHIFT/PARALLEL LOAD input is low. When this input is high, data is loaded serially on the rising edge of the clock or clock inhibit signal.

This device operates over a voltage range of 2.0 V to 6.0 V and is designed for a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The outputs are capable of driving 10 LSTTL loads and directly interface with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL logic families. The MC74HC165A is pin-compatible with the LS165, and the MC74HCT165A can serve as a level converter for interfacing TTL or NMOS outputs to High-Speed CMOS inputs.

The shift register is supplied in a 16-TSSOP package, suitable for surface mounting. It is Pb-Free and Halogen Free, complying with RoHS standards. The device offers high noise immunity characteristic of CMOS devices.
