MC3487N

The MC3487N is a quadruple differential line driver manufactured by Motorola Semiconductor, designed to meet ANSI TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU Recommendation V.11 standards. This device features four independent differential line drivers, each with a TTL-compatible input. The outputs utilize 3-state circuitry, providing high-impedance states when the output enable is low. Internal circuitry ensures a high-impedance state during power-up and power-down transitions when the output enable is low.

Key electrical specifications include a maximum signaling rate of 10 Mbps, a common-mode voltage range of -7V to 7V, and fault protection from -15V to 15V. It supports up to 32 nodes on the bus.
