MC33926PNBR2 Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The NXP Semiconductors MC33926PNBR2 is a SMARTMOS monolithic H-bridge power IC. It is designed for automotive electronic throttle control (ETC) and other low-voltage DC servo motor control applications, meeting stringent automotive requirements and is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified.

This device can control inductive loads with currents up to 5.0 A peak. It features internal peak-current limiting activated at load currents above 6.5 A ±1.5 A. Output loads can be pulse width modulated (PWM’ed) at frequencies up to 20 kHz. A load current feedback feature provides a proportional output for monitoring, and a status flag reports undervoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature fault conditions.

The MC33926PNBR2 operates continuously from 5.0 V to 28 V, with transient operation possible from 5.0 V to 40 V. It offers a maximum RDS(on) of 225 mΩ at 150 °C for each H-bridge MOSFET. Inputs are compatible with 3.0 V and 5.0 V TTL/CMOS logic. The IC is housed in a 32-PQFN (8x8) package suitable for surface mounting.

Applications include electronic throttle control (ETC), exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), turbo flap control, and industrial and medical pumps and motor control.
