It utilizes negative slope voltage detection as the primary method for fast charge termination, ensuring accurate sampling by momentarily interrupting the charge current.
This device includes a secondary backup termination method that can be programmed for either time or temperature limits, offering flexibility in charge control. Protective features are integrated to safeguard the battery and power supply, including battery over and undervoltage detection, latched over-temperature detection, and power supply input undervoltage lockout with hysteresis.
