The MC14504B is a hex non-inverting level shifter from ON Semiconductor, designed for versatile voltage translation applications. It can shift TTL signals to CMOS logic levels for any CMOS supply voltage between 5 and 15 volts. Additionally, a control input allows interface from CMOS to CMOS at one logic level to another. Both up and down level translating are accomplished by selecting the appropriate power supply levels for VDD and VCC, where VCC sets the input signal levels and VDD selects the output voltage levels.

 

This device operates over a wide supply voltage range of 3 to 18 Vdc for both VDD and VCC. It features diode-protected inputs to VSS and is capable of driving two low-power TTL loads or one low-power Schottky TTL load over the rated temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
