The MC14022BDG is a four-stage Johnson octal counter with a built-in code converter, manufactured by On Semiconductor. It features high-speed operation and spike-free outputs.
This counter IC supports a wide supply voltage range from 3.0 Vdc to 18 Vdc and operates across an ambient temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The device is designed for fully static operation and includes a DC clock input circuit that allows for slow rise times. Its outputs are normally low and transition high at their appropriate octal time period, changing on the positive-going edge of the clock pulse.
The MC14022BDG is suitable for frequency division, octal counter, or octal decode display applications. It offers a carry-out output for cascading multiple devices and can drive two low-power TTL loads or one low-power Schottky TTL load. The inputs feature triple diode protection.
Packaged in a 16-SOIC (0.154", 3.90mm Width) surface-mount package, this component is pin-for-pin compatible with the CD4022B. It is Pb-free and RoHS compliant.
