This prescaler offers selectable divide ratios of 2, 4, or 8, controlled by the SW1 and SW2 pins. It features on-chip output termination suitable for driving a 2.0 pF typical high impedance load. A stand-by mode is available to reduce current drain to 50 µA typical when the SB pin is switched low, disabling the prescaler.

 

The device operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and is supplied in an 8-SOIC surface mount package. It is RoHS and Halogen Free compliant.

 

Key electrical characteristics include a supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 Vdc and input compatibility with CML and ECL signals. ESD protection is provided for Human Body Model (>4 kV), Machine Model (>200 V), and Charged Device Model (>2 kV).
