This component is a functional and pinout duplication of the standard MECL 10K™ family, providing a 100% improvement in propagation delay without an increase in power-supply current. It features a typical propagation delay of 1.0 ns and a power dissipation of 35 mW/Gate. The operating temperature range is from 0°C to 75°C.

 

This logic gate is housed in a 16-CDIP (Ceramic Dual In-line Package) with a 0.300" (7.62mm) body. It is designed for through-hole mounting. The MC10H109L offers improved noise margin of 150 mV over the operating voltage and temperature range and is voltage compensated. It is compatible with MECL 10K devices.

 

Key electrical characteristics include a maximum power supply voltage of -8.0 Vdc and a maximum input voltage of 0 Vdc. The continuous output current is rated at 50 mA. The device has a differential output type and does not feature Schmitt trigger inputs.
