The MC100EP29DTG is a dual master-slave D-type flip-flop from ON Semiconductor, designed for high-speed digital applications. It features fully differential data and clock inputs, along with asynchronous overriding Set and Reset inputs. This device is capable of operating at a maximum frequency exceeding 3 GHz with typical propagation delays of 500 ps.
The flip-flop supports both PECL and NECL operating modes, with voltage ranges of 3.0 V to 5.5 V for PECL and -3.0 V to -5.5 V for NECL. It is housed in a 20-TSSOP package, suitable for surface mounting. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C (TA), and it consumes approximately 57 mA of current.
The differential inputs are designed with circuitry to ensure stability under open input conditions. The 100 Series designation indicates that this device includes temperature compensation. It is functionally equivalent to the MC10/100EL29 series.
