The MBRS260T3 is a Schottky power rectifier from On Semiconductor, designed for low voltage, high frequency switching power supplies. It features a 60V reverse voltage rating and 2A average rectified current, with a low forward voltage drop of 630 mV at 2A. The device employs the Schottky Barrier principle with epitaxial construction, oxide passivation, and metal overlay contact for reliable performance.
This rectifier offers fast switching with recovery time ≤500ns, making it suitable for freewheeling and polarity protection applications. It can handle surge currents up to 60A and has a high dv/dt capability of 10000 V/µs. The device is ESD rated (Human Body Model 3B, Machine Model C) and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
The MBRS260T3 is housed in a surface mount SMB package (DO-214AA) with J-bend leads, ideal for automated handling. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 2500 pieces per reel. The case is molded epoxy meeting UL 94 V-0, and the leads are corrosion resistant and solderable. The device is Pb-Free and RoHS compliant.
