The MBRS240LT3G is a Schottky barrier rectifier from On Semiconductor, designed for low voltage, high frequency switching applications. This device features a compact SMB surface mount package with J-bend leads suitable for automated handling.
Electrical characteristics include a typical forward voltage of 430 mV at 2 A, a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 40 V, and a non-repetitive surge current capability of 25 A. The junction is oxide passivated for stability, and a guard-ring provides overvoltage protection.
This rectifier is ideally used in free-wheeling diodes, polarity protection circuits, and low voltage power supplies. The package is molded epoxy meeting UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the device is Pb-free and RoHS compliant per the datasheet.
