ON Semiconductor MBRS230LT3G is a Schottky barrier rectifier designed for low voltage, high frequency switching power supplies, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection. It features a maximum reverse voltage of 30V and average rectified current of 2A.
The device offers a low forward voltage drop of 500 mV at 2A, enabling high efficiency. It can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of 40A and has a fast recovery speed of less than 500ns. The junction is oxide passivated with a guardring for over-voltage protection.
Housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package with J-bend leads, the part weighs 95 mg and is molded in UL 94 V-0 compliant epoxy. It is available in tape and reel packaging with 2500 units per reel.
This device is RoHS3 compliant and Pb-Free. AEC-Q101 qualified automotive variants (NRVBS230L) are available. Operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
