The MBRS140LT3G is a surface mount Schottky power rectifier from On Semiconductor. It features epitaxial construction with oxide passivation and metal overlay contact, making it suitable for low-voltage, high-frequency switching power supplies, free-wheeling diodes, and polarity protection diodes.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum DC blocking voltage of 40V and an average rectified forward current of 1A at 110°C. The device exhibits a low forward voltage drop, with a maximum of 0.5V at 1A and 0.6V at 2A. It also has a peak repetitive forward current of 2A and a non-repetitive peak surge current of 40A.
This rectifier operates within a junction temperature range of -55°C to 125°C and a case temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The package is a compact SMB (DO-214AA) with J-bend leads, ideal for automated handling. The epoxy meets UL 94 V-0 standards.
