The MBRP400100CTL is a dual Schottky barrier rectifier module designed for high-current power conversion. With a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 100V and an average rectified forward current of 200A per leg (400A per device), it provides efficient rectification. The low forward voltage drop (0.83V typical at 200A, 25°C) minimizes conduction losses. The device uses a common cathode configuration, enabling easy parallel operation for higher current output.
The module offers a non-repetitive peak surge current rating of 2500A for robust transient handling. The maximum operating junction temperature is 175°C, supported by a low thermal resistance of 0.45°C/W (per leg) junction-to-case. The Schottky technology with guard-ring protection ensures reliable operation in high-frequency switching applications.
Housed in the PowerTap II package, the device is designed for chassis mount installation, providing excellent thermal management. It is available in a Pb-free package option per the datasheet. Typical applications include switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), power converters, and free-wheeling diodes in high-current circuits.
