The MBRM110ET1G is a Schottky barrier rectifier from On Semiconductor, designed for low voltage, high efficiency applications. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM) of 10V and an average rectified forward current (IO) of 1.0A at TL=100°C. The forward voltage drop is a maximum of 0.530V at 1A and 25°C, enabling low power dissipation. Reverse leakage current is only 1.0 µA at 10V reverse voltage, contributing to extended battery life in portable devices.
The device can withstand non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 50A (60Hz half-wave), providing robustness in transient conditions. The operating junction temperature range spans -55°C to 150°C, with a thermal resistance junction-to-ambient of 277°C/W. The rectifier is housed in a surface mount DO-216AA (Powermite) package, which offers a low profile of 1.1 mm maximum and a footprint area of 8.45 mm². The package is molded epoxy meeting UL 94V-0 flammability rating.
Typical applications include AC/DC and DC/DC converters, reverse battery protection, ORing of multiple supply voltages, and other circuits in portable and battery-powered products such as cellular phones, notebook computers, and PDAs. The Schottky technology provides fast switching with recovery time less than 500ns, making it suitable for high frequency operation.
