The MBRD835LG is a Schottky barrier power rectifier from On Semiconductor designed for switch-mode power supplies and other inductive switching circuits. It uses a proprietary barrier metal to achieve low forward voltage drop.
Key electrical ratings include a maximum DC blocking voltage of 35V, average rectified forward current of 8A (at TC=88°C), and a forward voltage of 510mV maximum at 8A. The device can handle a peak surge current of 75A (60Hz half-wave). ESD ratings are >8000V HBM (Class 3B) and >400V Machine Model (Class C).
The diode is housed in a DPAK (TO-252-3) surface mount package and is rated for junction temperatures from -65°C to 150°C. It is Pb-Free and RoHS compliant.
