The MBRD835L is a Schottky Barrier Power Rectifier designed by ON Semiconductor for use in switching power supplies, inverters, and other inductive switching circuits. It utilizes Schottky barrier technology with a proprietary barrier metal to achieve low forward voltage and fast switching performance.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum DC blocking voltage of 35V, an average rectified forward current of 8A, and a low forward voltage of 510 mV at 8A. The device offers fast recovery with reverse recovery time ≤500ns at >200mA. It can handle peak repetitive forward current up to 16A and non-repetitive peak surge current up to 75A. The junction operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.
The MBRD835L is housed in a DPAK (TO-252) surface mount package, which is compact and suitable for automated assembly. The package is epoxy molded with UL 94 V-0 flammability rating and has corrosion-resistant terminals that are readily solderable. The device is available in tube packaging (75 units) or tape and reel (2500 units), with Pb-Free options available.
