The MBRD640CTG is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode array from ON Semiconductor, featuring two diodes in a common cathode configuration. Designed for high-efficiency power conversion, it delivers a maximum reverse voltage of 40V and an average rectified current of 3A per diode (6A total device current at TC=130°C).
With a typical forward voltage of 0.7V at 3A and fast switching speed (<500ns), this device minimizes conduction and switching losses in power circuits. It can handle peak surge currents up to 75A, providing robustness in demanding applications. The thermal resistance is 6°C/W junction-to-case and 80°C/W junction-to-ambient, enabling reliable operation over -65°C to +175°C.
Housed in a surface-mount DPAK (TO-252-3) package weighing 0.4g, the MBRD640CTG is suitable for automated assembly. It is ideal for use in switching power supplies, inverters, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection circuits.
