The MBRD360G is a Schottky barrier rectifier from On Semiconductor designed for switch-mode power supplies, free-wheeling, and steering diode applications. It features a low forward voltage drop of 600 mV at 3 A and fast switching with recovery time less than 500ns.
This device is rated for an average rectified forward current of 3 A at +125°C case temperature and a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 60 V. It can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 75 A and operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to +175°C.
The MBRD360G is housed in a surface-mount DPAK (TO-252) package with a weight of 0.4 grams. It is Pb-Free, halogen-free/BFR-free, and RoHS compliant. The package is suitable for automated assembly and meets MSL Level 1 for moisture sensitivity.
Applications include output rectification, free-wheeling diodes, and protection circuits in inverters and other inductive switching circuits.
