The MBRD360 is a Schottky barrier rectifier designed for use as output rectifiers, freewheeling, protection, and steering diodes in switching power supplies, inverters, and other inductive switching circuits. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM) of 60 V and an average rectified forward current (IF(AV)) of 3 A at a case temperature of 125°C. The device offers a low forward voltage drop of 0.6 V maximum at 3 A and 25°C, dropping to 0.45 V at 125°C. It also has a fast reverse recovery time of less than 500 ns, making it suitable for high-frequency switching applications.
With a nonrepetitive peak surge current rating of 75 A and a peak repetitive reverse surge current of 1 A, the MBRD360 can handle transient overloads. The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to +150°C, and the storage temperature range extends to +175°C. The thermal resistance from junction to case is 6°C/W, and from junction to ambient is 80°C/W when surface mounted.
The MBRD360 is supplied in a surface-mount DPAK (TO-252) package with a weight of approximately 0.4 grams. It is available in tubes of 75 units or on tape and reel with 2500 units per reel. The device is Pb-free and RoHS compliant, though compliance status is based on unverified sources.
