The MBRD330G is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, part of the MBRD3xxG series designed for switch-mode power applications. It is rated for a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 30 V and an average rectified current of 3 A. The forward voltage drop is typically 600 mV at 3 A, enabling low conduction losses. The device is characterized as a fast recovery diode with a speed classification of ≤500 ns at >200 mA.
These devices are optimized for use as output rectifiers, freewheeling diodes, protection diodes, and steering diodes in switching power supplies, inverters, and other inductive switching circuits. The Schottky barrier technology provides extremely fast switching with platinum barrier and avalanche guardrings for ruggedness.
