The MBRD320RLG is a Schottky barrier rectifier designed for use as output rectifiers, freewheeling, protection, and steering diodes in switching power supplies, inverters, and other inductive switching circuits. Key electrical specifications include a maximum reverse voltage of 20 V, average forward current of 3 A (at Tc=+125°C), and a low forward voltage drop of 600 mV at 3 A. The device can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of 75 A and has a maximum thermal resistance of 6°C/W junction-to-case and 80°C/W junction-to-ambient. It is housed in a surface-mount DPAK (TO-252-3) package, which is Pb-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant. The junction temperature range is -65°C to +175°C, and the device is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications.
