The MBRB2515L is a Schottky power rectifier designed for low voltage, high frequency applications. It features a DC blocking voltage of 15V and an average rectified forward current of 25A. The forward voltage drop is typically 450mV at 25A, enabling high efficiency. It offers fast reverse recovery (≤500ns) and a non-repetitive peak surge current capability of 150A. The device is rated for a maximum operating junction temperature of 100°C.
Packaged in a surface mount D2PAK (TO-263) case, the MBRB2515L provides excellent thermal performance with a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 1.0°C/W and junction-to-ambient of 50°C/W. The part is suitable for use in switching power supplies, free wheeling diodes, polarity protection, and ORing diode functions. It includes guardring stress protection and meets MSL1 requirements.
