The MBRB20100CT-13 is a 20A Schottky barrier rectifier from Diodes Incorporated, designed for general commercial applications. It features two diodes in a common cathode configuration, each leg rated for 10A average rectified current with a total of 20A. The repetitive peak reverse voltage is 100V. This device offers a low forward voltage drop of 0.84V maximum at 10A per leg, ensuring high efficiency in power conversion circuits. The guard ring die construction provides enhanced transient protection. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C.
This diode is packaged in a surface mount D2PAK (TO-263-3) package, which is ideal for automated assembly. The package is molded in a green molding compound with UL flammability rating 94V-0. Terminations are matte tin annealed over copper leadframe, lead-free and RoHS compliant. The part is also halogen and antimony free. Moisture sensitivity is Level 1 per J-STD-020, allowing unlimited floor life.
Typical applications include polarity protection, freewheeling and recirculating diodes, and switching power supplies. The device is also suitable for DC-DC converter output stages. The MBRB20100CT-13 is available in tape and reel packaging with 800 pieces per reel, as indicated by the -13 suffix.
