The MBRA160T3G is a surface mount Schottky power rectifier designed by ON Semiconductor. It features a 60V DC reverse voltage rating and 1A average forward current capability. The device utilizes Schottky barrier technology for very low forward voltage drop (510 mV max at 1A) and fast switching performance, making it ideal for high-frequency rectification circuits.
The rectifier is housed in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) package with J-bent leads, suitable for automated surface mount assembly. It has a non-repetitive peak surge current rating of 60A and an operating junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The device is Pb-Free, Halogen Free, and RoHS compliant.
Typical applications include low voltage, high frequency rectification, freewheeling diodes in power supplies, polarity protection, and DC-DC converter output stages. The guard-ring design provides stress protection for enhanced reliability.
