The MBR40250TG is a 250V, 40A Switch-mode Schottky Power Rectifier from On Semiconductor. It offers low forward voltage drop and fast reverse recovery, making it suitable for high-frequency switching power supplies and power management applications.
With a maximum forward voltage drop of 0.86V at 40A and 25°C (0.71V at 20A and 125°C), and reverse recovery time of 35ns, it reduces switching losses and eliminates reverse recovery oscillations. The device can handle nonrepetitive peak surge current up to 150A and peak repetitive forward current of 80A at 20kHz.
Operating junction temperature ranges from -65°C to 150°C, with storage up to 175°C. Thermal resistance junction-to-case is 2.0°C/W and junction-to-ambient is 60°C/W. The device is Pb-free and RoHS compliant.
The MBR40250TG comes in a TO-220-3 through-hole package, designed for power supply, automotive, and instrumentation applications.
