The MBR4015LWTG is a Schottky power rectifier array from On Semiconductor, employing the Schottky Barrier principle in a large area metal-to-silicon power rectifier. It features epitaxial construction with oxide passivation and metal overlay contact, providing highly stable oxide passivated junctions. The device includes a guardring for overvoltage protection and has a low forward voltage drop of 420 mV at 20 A (Tj=25°C).
This dual diode configuration (1 pair common cathode) allows terminals 1 and 3 to be connected for parallel operation at full rating. The array is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 15 V and an average rectified current of 20 A per diode (40 A per package). It is designed for fast recovery applications with a recovery time of less than 500 ns. The device is fully electrically isolated without additional hardware.
The MBR4015LWTG is packaged in a TO-247-3 through-hole molded epoxy case, weighing approximately 4.3 grams. It meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating and is Pb-Free, Halogen Free/BFR Free, and RoHS compliant. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C, with a thermal resistance of 0.57°C/W per leg from junction to case.
