The MBR360G is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, designed for low-voltage, high-frequency applications. It features an extremely low forward voltage drop (0.74V max at 3A) and high efficiency with low power loss. The device utilizes oxide passivated junction and majority carrier conduction for fast switching.
Electrical ratings include a maximum reverse voltage of 60V, average forward current of 3A, and non-repetitive peak surge current of 80A. Operating junction temperature ranges from -65°C to +150°C, with thermal resistance junction-to-ambient of 28°C/W. Forward voltage is also specified as 0.6V max at 1A and 1.08V max at 9.4A.
The diode is offered in a through-hole axial package (DO-201AA/DO-27), cathode indicated by a polarity band. It is suited for use as rectifiers, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection diodes in switching power supplies, inverters, and other power conversion circuits.
