The MBR30H100MFST1G is a Schottky barrier rectifier designed for high-efficiency switch-mode power supplies. It features a low forward voltage drop of 900 mV maximum at 30 A, reducing conduction losses. The device is rated for 100 V peak repetitive reverse voltage and 30 A average rectified current at TC = 140°C. It offers fast switching speed (≤500 ns) and a high surge current capability of 300 A. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C, and it is ESD rated HBM Class 3B and MM Class M4.
The device is housed in a compact 8-PowerTDFN (SO-8 FL) surface mount package with 5 leads, also known as 5-DFN (5x6) (8-SOFL). It is Pb-free and Halide-free, meets MSL 1 requirements, and the epoxy molding compound is UL 94 V-0 rated. The package supports wettable flanks for improved solder inspection. Typical applications include output rectification in portable electronics, freewheeling diodes for inductive loads, and telecom power conversion.
