The MBR20060CT is a Schottky diode module designed for high current rectification applications. It offers a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 60V and an average forward current of 200A at a case temperature of 125°C. The forward voltage is typically 0.75V maximum at 100A and 25°C, ensuring low conduction losses. The module can handle peak forward surge currents up to 1500A for 8.3ms half sine wave, providing robust surge capability.
The device operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and features a low thermal resistance of 0.45°C/W from junction to case per leg. It is configured as a common cathode pair of Schottky diodes, offering fast switching with recovery times under 500ns. The module is housed in a Twin Tower package designed for chassis mounting, suitable for high power density designs.
Typical applications include output rectification in switch mode power supplies, DC-DC converters, and battery charging systems where high efficiency and reliability are required. The module is not ESD sensitive and offers high surge capability.
