The MBR1645 is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode designed for switch mode power supply and high-frequency rectification applications. It features a 45V DC blocking voltage and a 16A average rectified current rating. The forward voltage is typically 630 mV at 16 A, enabling low conduction losses. The device can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 150 A. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The part is housed in a through-hole TO-220AC package with a thermal resistance of 1.5 °C/W from junction to case, facilitating efficient heat dissipation. The Schottky technology provides fast switching with reverse recovery time less than 500 ns, making it suitable for high-speed power conversion circuits.
