The MBR160RLG is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode designed for low-voltage, high-frequency applications. It features a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 60V and an average rectified forward current of 1A. The forward voltage drop is 750 mV at 1A, enabling low power loss and high efficiency. The device can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 25A.
This diode employs epitaxial construction with oxide passivation and metal overlap contact, resulting in low reverse current and low stored charge. It is suitable for use in freewheeling diodes, polarity protection, and inverters. The junction temperature range is -65°C to +150°C, with a thermal resistance of 80°C/W junction-to-ambient.
The MBR160RLG is supplied in a through-hole DO-204AL (DO-41) axial lead package. The case is epoxy molded and all external surfaces are corrosion resistant. The lead temperature for soldering is 260°C maximum for 10 seconds. The device is Pb-free and RoHS compliant (unverified).
